What is COVID-19?

COVID-19 is a respiratory illness spread through coughs, sneezes and close contact with people who have the virus. Most people have mild symptoms and recover quickly, but some people can become severely ill. Symptoms can occasionally persist and develop into Long COVID.

A free NHS COVID-19 vaccination

At certain times of year, some people may be eligible for a COVID-19 vaccination free of charge on the NHS. Our pharmacies offer this seasonal service when appointments are available.
